Don't stop moving Gigas jumps in the air and launches himself into your position, so keep moving to avoid getting hit by this attack.Here's a list of spells Gigas is immune to, so don't even think about trying them on this enemy: Tangled, Magma, Confused, Stopped, and Imprisoned.Whenever Gigas throws a fireball at you, hide behind a big rock to avoid damage.With this design, you'll have an easier time knocking enemies to the ground based on the number of spells you've learned. You will automatically unlock Olas Magic by completing chapter 11 of the main storyline.Īfter defeating Gigas, you'll get a new Nail Design called Fatale. Once you get there, approach the monster and hit it with Olas Magic, which is the only type of magic Gigas is weak to. You'll be now in Mount Garrison, so go west (going around the mountain) to reach the below location to find Gigas. Go through there and then scan the belfry right ahead of you to get a better sense of what points of interest are in the area. The easiest way there is to fast travel to the Praenost Castle Town Refuge, which you most like have visited by now if you have completed the main storyline.įrom the refuge, go to the left, where you'll find a gate you can use to exit the area. To get there, you'll first need to get to Pioneer's Plain (which is the area where the Preaneost Castle is). Gigas is in Praenost, in an area known as Mount Garrison. Getting to the monster can be quite a journey. This way, you won't waste time going up an unclimbable mountain when you can move to the left or right and find a better path. Some of the Abomination's locations are pretty hidden on the map, so by zooming in on your map to turn on the 3D effect, you'll be able to see better which path to take to get where you want to. If the belfry is close enough to the Abomination, its location will show up on the map after the scanning.
